We don't like super complicated wash routines unless your particular situation calls for something a little extra. It is just laundry after all! Here are some basic ways we keep our own Bungies fresh as a daisy!
1. Rinse cloth diapers in cold water: Start by shaking off any solid waste into the toilet and then rinse the diapers in a cold water bath.
2. Pre-wash: Use a regular cycle on your washing machine with cold water and a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.
3. Main wash: Use a hot water cycle with a second rinse cycle and a mild detergent.
4. Dry: You can dry your cloth diapers in the dryer or hang them outside in the sun. If you hang your cloth diapers to dry, make sure to clip the diaper on the tummy panel side and not by the elastic to ensure your elastics stay in tip top shape!
PRO TIP: Dealing with pesky stains in your super loved and used cloth diapers? Hanging them outside in direct sunlight can help to naturally bleach any stains!
